While our ISO 9001:2000 certification has provided momentum for this pursuit, we recognize that it is the daily incremental improvements that keep Jessen ahead of the competition.

Our methodical approach to continuous improvement (CI) starts with our quality policy - "the planned prevention of nonconformance." Because this necessitates total commitment from the top down, we have given our employees the tools, the responsibility and the ownership within their work cells to improve the quality of our products.

One such tool is Statistical Process Control. This has been in place at Jessen for decades to ensure zero defect levels and measure the effectiveness of improvement activities.

We also expect a commitment to quality from our suppliers, viewing and treating these outside sources as extensions of the Jessen manufacturing process.
